THEATRETTE The Museum Theatrette was opened in June 2001 after funding of $1 million was provided to the Richmond Shire Council by the Qld Heritage Trail Network for the construction of additions to the Museum, including a Preparation Room and the Theatrette. A 12 minute professionally produced film, screened in the theatrette, introduces visitors to the world of the Cretaceous Inland Sea and explains how the marine fossils they are about to see in the Museum originated. The theatrette is air-conditioned and features a large screen and excellent sound system. |
