FOSSICKING SITES

There are several marine fossil fossicking sites only short distances from Richmond.

These sites have abundant invertebrae including shellfish, belemnites, fish and marine reptiles and the amateur fossicker has an excellent chance of finding a fossil.

The map at right shows just how close these fossicking sites are to Richmond and Kronosaurus Korner, and staff at the centre are only too happy to provide you with a copy of this map and directions on how to get there, along with tips to assist you with your fossicking.
