Kronosaurus Korner - Richmond Marine Fossil Museum

The Kronosaurus Korner complex is in the heart of Richmond, a town of 750 people in a shire of 1200 in Outback Queensland. It is on the banks of the Flinders River, one of the longest rivers in Queensland.

In 2001 Richmond won the title of Australia's Tidy Town of the Year.

Richmond Marine Fossil Museum
Richmond is the geographical centre of where the Cretaceous Inland Sea once was, and the fossils that are found prolifically around Richmond are the remains of
animals that lived and died in the sea.
